Sunday, June 8, 2008 LAH barn tour and Tack Sale in Woodside
This year the Stable Tour will be held June 8, Sunday, from 10 a.m. until 3 p.m. The tour will include wonderful, special barns in Woodside and the surrounding area. Tickets will be $25. Tickets and maps may be picked up at the Woodside Town Hall the morning of the Tour. Lunch will be served on the grounds of one of the barns and will also be priced at $25. We will also have our amazing Used Tack Sale that day, also held on at the Woodside Town Hall.

Thursday Aug 7, 2008 to Sunday Aug 10 - LAH Camping Adventure at Jack Brook
Come enjoy a weekend of camping and riding at the magnificent Jack Brook Horse Camp in Sam MacDonald Park. It is only 15 miles from Woodside, near La Honda and Pescadero. Come enjoy a riding weekend with your hunting friends.
Non-members of Los Altos Hounds, this is a great opportunity to get acquainted with some of the members and staff and find out more about our sport. Bring your horse, camping gear, family, friends and your preferred beverage, and everything else is taken care of. Hunt members dont miss out on a weekend of conditioning and good times before hunt season.
From Thursday dinner to Sunday lunch, enjoy the fabulous catered meals by our tried and true caterers Fran and Tom Grace. Pipe corrals are available for the horses, along with wheelbarrows and wash racks. Horse food is not catered, so please bring meals for the steeds. Amenities abound for the rider, with hot showers, flushing toilets, fire pits, a bar under the redwood trees and a dance floor. There is plenty of parking for trailers and R.V.s or room to pitch a tent in a beautiful meadow. The trails are one of the wonders of the world with vistas that will take your breath away. Ride for an hour or pack your lunch and hit the trail all day. I have been going to this campground for two decades and look forward to it every year.
We expect to sell out, so please make your reservation and send your check now. Reservations will be accepted first come, first served. Upon receiving your reservation and check, directions and additional details will be sent. Please read and follow the driving in directions.
Prices include the camping fee, catered meals starting with Thursday dinner through Sunday lunch. Price for Los Altos Hounds Members or other Hunt Members is $295. Non hunt member guests for the weekend are $320. Children under ten are $120. The facility and caterers are paid from Thursday on so discount for Friday or a later arrival is $25. Guests can come for dinner only on Friday or Saturday nights for $65.
