Sire LAH English Foxhound “Farmer”Whelped: June 21st, 2011 Bitches: 5 Dogs: 4
Our Huntsman Matthew chose this breeding because these parents are both fantastic English hunting hounds with amazing pedigrees. Conformationally, they are very typey. They are quite biddable in the field.
Donatella is by Blue Ridge Hunt (Clarke County, VA) Donovan. His line dates back to one of England's most preeminent hunts, the Duke of Beaufort's Hunt, located at Badminton House (of 3-day Eventing fame). Donatella is out of LAH Plaintiff, who is herself by the hugely famous County Tipperary Hounds Parker.
Farmer is out of Santa Fe Fiddle by LAH Baker. He won Best of Breed at the 2011 Western States Hound Show.
Litter Two by
Dam LAH English Foxhound “Windy”

LAH Crossbred Foxhound “Renoir” Whelped: July 1st, 2011 Bitches: 2 Dogs: 1
Again, Matthew chose this breeding above all because of the hounds performance and pedigree. Another consideration is their respective conformations. Whereas Windy is one of our homebred hounds, Renoir (bred by LAH) has blood from an outside line, namely, Worry Hounds of Aiken, South Carolina. This blood should improve the performance of the next generation of hounds, proudly presented this season.
